Findra registry passes 240 verified resources across 15 African countries

The latest verification sweep added insurtech, card-issuing, addressing and open-banking APIs, more MCP servers, African-language NLP tools, and a wave of African AI models.

The registry now lists 240 status-verified resources across APIs (87), developer tools (53), datasets (35), AI resources (33) and MCP servers (32), spanning 15 African countries.

The most recent sweep widened coverage well beyond payments:

  • MCP servers: CinetPay, a Central Bank of Nigeria data server, GhanaPostGPS, Deggo (Senegal) and more real, installable repos.
  • Tools: payment SDKs across Python, Node, PHP, Rust, Dart and .NET, African-language NLP libraries, and country geo-data packages.
  • AI: the UBC-NLP family (Serengeti, Cheetah, Toucan covering 517 languages), Sunbird (Uganda), Lesan (Ethiopia), InstaDeep and the Cassava AI Factory.
